OK, so it's no secret that I LOVE to scrap. My family gets tired of seeing me at my computer all the time and having a camera stuck in their faces 24/7. I guess I can't blame them...well, sort of. I know that one day they will thank me. The way I know this is by how I feel when I look at photos from "yesteryear" of my family. I so wish that someone had taken the time to write names, places, dates, etc. on the photos. I guess the upside of that, is that when I get my hands on these photos, I get to call family members and ask if they remember. I always feel a sense of "goose pimply" pride when I work on one of these photos. Restoring it, saving it on my EHD and labeling it with as much information as I can so that one day, when my boys are grown, they can look back and see the people that were the foundation of our family. After all, that's why we scrap, isn't it??
So, that brings me to the GORGEOUS photo of my Gram and Mom that I worked on today. I feel so much pride in the fact that I could "clean" this photo up a bit ( there were LOTS of scratches, markings, etc.) and then turn it into a beautiful LO that my boys and their children can appreciate!
So...without further rambling, here is the photo:

Isn't it outstanding?! And here is the LO:

The LO was created using Scrap4Brains stunning kit, Tapestry (click the pic to get to the kit!):

And that's about all from me today. I'm still working on so many other projects and one of them will be a little freebie for all of you! A gorgeous Paper Pack...watch for a sneak peek tomorrow!
Happy Scrapping!
